South Africa the tip of Africa

Officially apartheid is over, but for most of the blacks and coloreds, life is still a struggle. A very small percentage in the black townships are slowly being moved into new government housing. The majority still live in tin shacks without indoor plumbing or hope for the future. The white South Africans still hold most of the wealth and wont discuss the Apartheid years. The historic university town of Stellenbosch, located in the lush wine country, is a reminder of the Apartheid era.
